Birds Eye View
Less Nessman, a female fronted, New York City band has self-released their debut CD, Bird’s Eye View, a truly unique and blues-rock sound that pays tribute to the city that influenced them. Less Nessman defies the typical albums that fall into one particular mold. Listening to the album one notices this unique arc: - The first track, Ode to Lyle, warms the ear with a melodic, jazzy intro-exploration. - The second track, Spread Your Love, Less Nessman’s newly released single, is a hand-clappin’, foot-stompin’ prayer for spiritual protection. - The album builds to a track six peak with Blank Pages, including an extended jam-band, guitar and vocal scat laden section. - They bring the album to a close with a simple folk rock testament to honesty in love, complete with Janis Joplin-wails of emotion. The band constructed an album that takes the listener through a journey of interpersonal and spiritual connections with lessons on life, love and existential well-being.

The fun really takes off for preschoolers when they climb on this Elmo-themed ride-on. Slide right into the pilot's seat, and Elmo is waiting as your co-pilot. Turn the propellers on the wings for a cool ratcheting sound. Push the propeller button or the green buttons on the steering wheel to watch the propeller spin around and light up. The plane's eyes move and its entire body lights up as well! On the steering wheel, slide Elmo in his airplane to hear fun phrases, or turn the gearshift or the key for more sound effects. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 24"L x 19"W x 13"H. Holds up to 65 pounds. Assembly required. Adult supervision recommended.

What We Think
Ease of assembly:
The Good: Kids can ride or simply press buttons for sound effects and a spinning propeller.
The Challenging: Younger children should be supervised while riding.
In a Nutshell: Kids will love co-piloting this colorful plane with the help of talking Elmo.
Children will love riding around on this interactive plane with Elmo at the helm.
A steering wheel allows kids to "fly" the plane, or press interactive buttons that play music and sound effects. View larger.
Kids Help Elmo Steer the Plane
Take to the skies with Elmo as your co-pilot! Featuring a colorful steering wheel, ignition, and throttle, this miniature plane allows kids to scoot around and push buttons for exciting sound effects and songs. The plane's small size ensures that children as young as 12 months can sit on it with their feet still touching the ground. The propeller lights up and spins, but it's designed for safety-- a stray hand or finger will do nothing more than momentarily stop the propeller from working.
The Ride-On has a maximum weight capacity of 65 pounds, and as with all toys designed for young children, adult supervision is recommended for safe play. With a plastic seat that is only eight inches from the ground, the ride is stable, but leaning too far over the front wheel could cause a child to fall forward. The Ride-On comes with three "AA" batteries installed, but adult supervision is a must for assembly and battery replacement.
Turn the Ignition and Watch the Propeller Spin
With its many colorful buttons, knobs, and pictures, the Ride-On is a versatile toy, even for children who aren't yet old enough to ride it. Smaller kids will enjoy simply turning the ignition and watching the propellers spin as they push the plane around the room. Twin propellers on the plane's wings make cool ratcheting sounds when turned.
Kids will be happy to find some of their favorite Sesame Street characters in the windows on either side of the plane and on the steering wheel's push-buttons. Two green buttons on the steering wheel activate songs, and the Elmo button gets Elmo talking.
Kids Help Tidy Up with Under-seat Storage
After play time is done, parents can teach kids to tidy up and stow their smaller toys in the Ride-On's under-seat storage cubby.,The plane's wings fold up making it more compact and easier to store. Another adult-friendly feature is the adjustable volume control, which is located beneath the plane where most kids won't find it.
